Girder Pro Scheduler Not Working

Hi Guys

Now my scheduler is not working

I have a daily schedule set up to run my XMLTV download and it is not triggering events either.

My configuration is this

1 Macro Group with a Girder event attached. Girder Event = GirderEnable
Config is as follows

Scheduler Name=Run_FreeTV_XMLTV
EventString = FreeTV
Time: 11:20

1 O/S File Execute Group with a Girder Event = FreeTV

At the Scheduled time I get a message in the Logger


Source = Scheduler
Details = FreeTV

Yet it doesn't trigger the FreeTV Girder Event like it is meant to.

I have executed the individual program using Event.exe to make sure that it works - but the scheduler doe not seem to trigger my events.

Uuuuummmmmmm.

Now this may sound pretty dumb - but what do you mean?

My actual event that should be triggered is set as a Girder Event?

Or do you mean that in the Event String of the Scheduler I should put something like this


<eventstring> <device> <payload>

If the above is what you mean - then no I haven't done that.

yes, device. Girder events are device 18.

So basically it is an internal EVENT.EXE call.

I will give that a go in a few hours when I get home and post back

OK - Finally Got this to work.

The trick is on the triggered Event. You need to set triggered events 'Event Device" = "Raw: Scheduler"

Once that is done everything works fine. I couldn't find this actually stated in the Manual - but I may just be blind.
