Dynamic variables in OSD PopUp (feature request)

The plugins have no clue as to when the variables update. So this is not possible at the moment.

Would it be difficult to make the OSD Display update itself dynamically for variables that change periodically?
Right now, you have to launch the OSD command whenever the variable changes, which causes the OSD to sometimes flicker a little bit as it is updated. I'd like to be able to just put the OSD PopUp timeout on "Infinite" and trust that it would update any variables when they change.
