Hey folks,
Here's my dilemma. . .

I'm using Grider 4, a USB-UIRT and a Radioshack universal remote to control SageTV via sendmessage commands. If, for example, I press press channel up on the remote, then Sage receives the command and tunes one channel up. However, after that first successful command was sent the remote stops working until I move my mouse. When I move the mouse all the buttons that I've been mashing in frustration will be executed rapidly.

I can see the lights on the UIRT blinking so I know it's working. . . Does anyone have any ideas?

This didn't happen with 3.3 and hasn't always happened with 4.0. I really can't say what has changed.

Does the Girder light blink?

Sounds similar to behaviour I see, I do not have a mouse to move thou, and after numerous presses the remote works again

If you mean the "light" on the tray icon, then no. . . It doesn't do anything until I move my mouse.

Hmm, sounds like Girder got stuck somehow. If you press that same button but have that particular action disabled, do the events get 'stuck' then too?

If the particular action is disabled then the girder light doesn't come on at all.

Could this be related to a bad USB UIRT install?

I'm going to remove the driver and reinstall. I will post the results if any.

I have found my issue to be with my remote being faulty I have since replaced it and had no further issues.
