Using synergy with one monitor

I've just started using Synergy using one keyboard and mouse to control 2 pc's connected to one Monitor..hdtv.

I wonder if there is anyway to have girder monitor my mouse? What I'm thinkin is if the mouse leaves the synergy server screen girder would detect that and fire my usb uirt to switch the input on my hdtv to the client pc's input and visa versa.

I could just set up a keyboard hot button or something?

Any Ideas?
