I recently baught myself a logitec wirless keyboard and mouse. The set came with a remote control which is quite usefull. I currently control girder with my ppc using netremote, but now i would like to integrate this new remote into my set up. Is there any way of mapping the girder events to the buttons on the remote.

The remote does not seem to be a conventual IR device as there are no line of sight issues, which leads me to belive that the i may need to map the buttons as if they were say buttons on a game pad. Hower i am not sure how to make this work and appeal to this forum's collective wisdom for help :D . Could it be that i need a specific plug in? I tried the keyboard one but to no avail.

If any body has any ideas please let me know

Hi,

sounds like you have nice RF desktop + remote set
Try the HID plugin, most Logitech devices have HID drivers.

also see this thread about config of logitech HID remote in Girder 4: http://www.promixis.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=13325&highlight=

hope this helps
