Question concerning adding groups to Girder

If they have the extension .gxr you need to use the girder converter on them (from the download page) for use with Girder 3.1.
They will then be in .gml format.
Goto File>Import Group... to get them into girder

I apologize if this is a very beginner question, but I just got the Packard Bell remote, and I'm doing alright with girder. However, I've found all these files that are in text form that are programming for different programs like winamp, etc. How do i put them into girder?, Thanks.
