I can't get my motorola DTC 3412 I HD Cable Box to take IR comands, from my global cache their is a ir 1/8 in jack on the back but it I cant get it to work. has any on ran into this problem ? :-?

OK I finaly got the comands If any one needs them let me know the is for comcast HD cable box Motorola dct3412 DVR recorder

will there are few things one the ir is in a different location then the manule states
also the codes were only working every third time I entered them with my remote. after that it was easy

If the offer still stands I'd like the codes too. I'm programming a Universal MX-900 remote for the Comcast version of the Motorola 3412.

Your note was really a blast from the past, and I thank you. I no longer need the codes though because I switched to TiVo HD with a couple of cable cards, gave the Motorolas back to Comcast and could only be happier if I dumped Comcast all together. Can't though. We live just a few blocks from the University of Oregon and we've gotta have those Duck games.
