CanNOT figure this out. Using NR Pro+IR 1.5.1.55 and NRD 1.0.0.20 (both latest versions, right?). First issue I think is a known issue, and I'm OK with that til a fix is made available, is that if NR is not running when NRD is launched, NRD complains about that fact. No biggie, but is whatever is the source of that problem also causing the following??:

Obviously, once I do have NR running and launch NRD, it loads the currently running CCF into NRD. If I subsequently make a change to the CCF, upon attempting to save, it gives me the first attached error (NRDerror.png). The CCF does NOT save, and trying to "Send interface to NetRemote" reminds me that I must first save the file.... I can save to a different filename, however. So then, let's say I want to then load the CCF (with the new filename) into NR, if I go to NR, it's now completely blank. That's right, blank. If I do a "File | Load..Interface file(CCF)" and try to load the new CCF, I get the second attached error (NRDerror2.png)... (I've told MS about it, they don't seem to care.. )

I've uninstalled both NR and NRD (completely, deleted reg entries, deleted folders, etc.) and re-installed. No difference in behavior. This is pretty much completely duplicatable on my system. I've also attached NRD's "Designer.log" if that will help any.

Thanks to any who can clue me in....

Terry

Can you send me the CCF you're working on? I'll diagnose and attempt to correct this problem right away.

Ben, actually the new build (1.5.1.57) of NR seems to have taken care of the majority of my problems...NRD still complains at launch if NR isn't already running, but I suspect that you already know that and are hot on the heels of a fix...

Only other pressing continuing issue I have with NR at this point is when trying to run two instances (with profiles) of NR on the same machine...and I need to take the time to clean stuff up so that I can report my problems with that in a clear, concise way.

Thanks for the tremendous support you and the rest of the Promixi continue to offer on your great products....
