Yeah the new forum is a huge improvement overall, including maintainance.

The look might change to be more "girder" specific at some point, but for now I do not want to put in more time. I think my time is better spent working on girder. :-)

It took me long enough ( well 15 minutes ) to make a new banner :roll:

just my opinion,

but I'm missing the old forum lay-out. That was more 'Girder specific'. Now I feel as being in one of many.

My opinion - THIS forum software ROCKS because it IS more standardized, feature rich and functional. I am sure the backend is easier to maintain and administer as well.

The last thing I want is to spend any energy on learning how to use forum software. I guess some folks just hate to give up that lovely old search feature. :-)
