Ah I see what the problem is, after 10 seconds the control window hides it selfs. Thus girder cannot find it. If you change the targeting to also match invisible targets it will work again. ( To set all targets in one go, select the group and click on edit->Set group targets )

I'm glad it worked for you, and about that "e" missing at the end of the filename this seems to be a bug in Win2K (XP???). Because also the taskmanager leaves out the last e. I would file a bug report with Micosoft but that would be utterly useless ;-)
I have not seen this problem that you are talking about I'll see if I can recreate it later today.

Try this one:

Most controls works including Full screen controls! Thanks to the author of GDivX player for pointing out the key-combo for fullscreen toggle :-)

If you'd post a link someone might be in a good mood to check it out for you.
ps. post your question only once. I removed the other one from "Tricks tips and hints"

Sorry, i tried to make a group for you but i couldn't capture the commands. I tested the captured commands but they don't respond. Girder GPF'ed me so i got mad and deleted the player. =| Maybe someone will have better luck!

i have narrowed it down to when the mouse "goes away" or disappears during playback after like 10 secs of inactivity (like it does with any media player), girder no longer can send the commands. when i move the mouse again, i can send commands again.
note this only happens in fullscreen.

wow, awesome! had to teach myself a few things to get it going (not your fault, obviously), but one thing that is a problem is that in the gdivx.gml file you sent the target exe is named Gdivx Player.ex instead of GDivx Player.exe so girder would process the commands but there would be no window for it to do it. a simple search and replace in notepad fixed that tho, and i am a happy camper.
one more thing tho, after switching to full screen, i can pause and stuff but it seems as if the commands "wear off" after a few clicks unless i move the mouse and click once on the full screen movie (that does nothing command-wise, but it "resets" girder to look at the movie or something. i just dont know what it is.
thanks so much tho!

i apologize for the double post, as i did when i edited that second post. as far as a website for Global Divx, it is http://www.divxity.com/.
i think editing the girder config files is tough, i was just wondering if someone might have a few generic ideas, this player is nothing fancy.
thanks in advance.[/url]

i like GDivx better than WMP or The Playa, was just wondering if a n00b like me could get a config file from someone who has this working...
