It may be the version 3.0 plugin. There was a nasty start-up problem that I fixed two days ago. I just don't know. I can't reproduce what you describe on my system. I'm using Win '98.

I just sent Ron a new version of the serial plugin that fixes some bugs and adds function. I'd appreciate it if you could re-try with that version (3.0.1) of the plugin and the LT150 device and .gml files I've included in the release.

I'll leave the projector set up next to the PC until we get this resolved.

Thanks for test that out. I'll get the PC and projector into the same room as soon as I can. :)

Hi and welcome to Girder!

I built the LT150 support for a friend of mine. I haven't used it in quite some time so I'll need to set my system up for testing that projector before I can re-create the problem. I'll try to do that today but in the mean time have you verified the serial cable? There was a CD that shipped with the LT150 that includes a program that talks to the projector across the serial cable. If that program works, the serial cable is OK and this is a serial plugin problem (mine!). :)

Hi there. Thanks for the welcome and the reply.

Yes Ive installed the pc control utility and it works fine. I dont have it loaded while girder is operational though. So serial control seems to work fine.

Ive been trying to get this to work for ages with no luck. Im using girder 3.1 with IRMan. Ive installed the serial support plugin, and Ive loaded the LT150 ini file in the settings option. Then I loaded the lt150 exported group after using the conversion tool to make it useable for 3.1. So basically on my girder screen I have the list of options of controls for the nec, but then I go and assign the options a remote signal and when I test it the program just freezes. What am I doing wrong?? This thing is driving me nuts.
