Ah but yes there is, Girder recently got a big update so some of the help is a little out of date.

The Question action has been superceeded by the "Question OSD" plugin.
See the help directory for an example.

If you want a sequece of keys to do something try the numbuilder plugin, probably in combination with GVMS.

If this seems like a lot to understand at once that is true, start easy and experiement with the Question OSD, if you are comfortable with that then move on to the numbuilder. Again get comfy with that and only then delve into the GMVS.

Hi, I would like to be able to require a certain keyboard sequence before executing a command such as a system reboot. For example, to reboot the PC would require I press "1" then "2" then "3" on the remote (I am using Irman), preferably within some time limit. If the events do not occur within the specified order and within a certain time limit then then the command(s) will not execute.

I am running Girder 3.1. I found something about "linking" and "asking a question" in the program's online help file FAQ for "Ask Before Shutdown" but I can not find any type of "question" or "linking" option on this version of Girder. (Also searched discussion board with no success.)

Can Girder do this? It seems that there isn't anything it can't do! Please help. Thanks.

Thanks Ron, Girder is awesome!! I expected the help file was wrong because of the big update but couldn't find a plug-in that looked right.

What is the GMVS? I see the Numbuilder and Question OSD plug-ins but nothing that looks like GMVS in the program or on the Girder download page.

I'll download the new update, 3.1.2, and see if it is in there.

Thanks!!
