Well I would even be glad to contribute if needed.
I could use an IRMan and Pronto Remote (the color version, of course). :D
Sorry, to be clear, this is my sorry attempt at humor.
I really have no idea what the Pronto mouse mode protocol looks like or what it would look like when presented by the IRMan at the serial port. Since I don't have this hardware, I'm not sure I can help. :(
I will think about it though.

I have an all in one ir keyboard which supports pronto mouse mode but for girder to support it I think someone would have to write a plugin Mark F is the man if hes listening he might think of doing it.....

Hi all, :-?
I have had an IRman hooked up to my living room computer for
quite a while. I am totally happy with it
I just bought a Philips Pronto to replace my old universal remote and I
have to say it's a cool little toy :)
There IS a mouse mode on the pronto: it uses the touchscreen to
send IR commands about the position of the "mouse" pointer. It turns
the Pronto into a big touchpad (as I understand it). That's pretty cool
but I have not way to use it or even test it...
Unless.... :P ... Girder or some other programm can read this IR signal
and turn it into mouse coordinates !!!! That should not be such a big deal
if the Philips protocol is not too hard to decipher... Well I would even be
glad to contribute if needed. Well I will need some pointers first =)
Any ideas ????
Thx in advance, Cesto

:-? OK, that's what I feared....
I will try abd see if the protocol makes any sense to me....
What I think about doing, is to watch the incoming data using
"serial watcher".
I will then publish my results and hope someone can integrate
it into Girder... Or I could even try and write a plugin...
l8er, Cesto
