The IRman probably cannot decode your remote, try using a different remote.

I have a Dish network 6000 remote controller that I want to use the codes from to run a program on the computer. I have an IRman for input. When I do a LEARN, I get FFFFFFFFFFFF in the code window no matter what button I press. What's up with this?

I tried another Dish 6000 remote with the same results. Has anyone been able to use the Dish 6000 remote with IRman/Girder?

Other brand remotes appear to work fine. Apparently the Dish 6000 remote uses an IR range above 17khz and the IRman can't see it. I have a Denon/Aktis universal and it can't learn/repeat the codes to the Dish unit. The Denon rep said the Aktis is limited to IR below 17k.
