All- I'm still very new at this, but if what I've 'created' helps someone else please feel free to use.

-My 'custom' work is based on alevey's 800x600 CCF and incororates Ben S's Music CCF for JRMC. I added my own touches for 'user friendlyness' on the music section that lets you more easily play listed tree items, as well as delete items from the current playlist.
-This CCF is very graphic-intensive. I'm running it no prob on a fujitsu 3500 touchpad, modified with XP Pro OS w/SP2.
-I'm also incorporating some elements from jmarcel's work and avid utils.
-X10 functionality for the cm15a is handled directly from NR via an HTTP function call to a server app called x10dispatcher (www.x10dispatcher.com) - And works quite well. -You must have the ActiveHomePro SDK or consumer application installed since it makes use of the ahcmd.exe component.

Now, for you Girder and NR pros- My work is probably very messy and I'm sure there are things that could have been designed better. I've only got about a week or so of work into this, but am controlling my entire audio/video system as well as lighting.
Having lots of fun!
If anyone wants to take it and clean up / improve some of the functions and pages it might make a decent 'starter' ccf package to post for d/l on the site.

All this is missing is a DVD library that interfaces with ZP (which is used in my CCF for DVD playback via tcp/ip. (hint, if anyone wants to work on it)

There is no lua file associated with the ccf yet. The only function dependency on G4 is for the weather, since i'm still learning Girder.

hi, did you try uploading it via the developer/upload link on the front page of the web site

Thanks, found the uploads page... did I mention that I was new here?

- I just uploaded it to the Netremote ccf section. I do not see it showing up in the ccf listings yet, otherwise I would post the link to it..

Uploads have to be approved (usually by Mike) before they appear in the list.

You can actually post a link to it anyway by going back to the Developer Uploads page. Click on the pencil next to your upload to edit the entry and you'lll find a link to the file there. If you copy and paste that link in a message then people will be able to dowload your file before it gets official approval.

updated version - cleaned up a bunch of stuff and added matching vol keys to the music pages. added drop-shadows to some of the text elements.
Most important, I've added greater G4 weather functionality to the pages including a mini weather image next to weather descriptions. take what you like - have fun

Post some screen shots, I'm interested to see it.

I no longer use NR (no more touchscreens in the house - will again someday) but I'm still around. VERY happy to see that people are using my skin.

No more touchscreens?? what happened? (got to be a good story here...)

anyway, I took to your skin because I really liked the graphics you used, the design of the layouts / macros, and page structures. Love the time you put into this ccf, especially the guide icons and channel macros- A huge thank you.

Took me a month or so to figure eveything out, being new to NR / G4 and all, but now I'm actually getting the hang of some of this stuff.

I'm about to post a new version of the ccf, which uses GAC+ / LUA for some of the JRMC stuff, incorporates Brian's new PlayPick driver / variable list in the DVD control screen for direct movie selection, PlayPick-driven variable search fields in the JRMC search screen (search by artist, track or album) and Brian's avid utils for scrolling text.
I need to make sure everything works on the new 2.0 version of NR first- I'll post some screen shots when it's up!
