bug with girder 3.1.2e under win2k

Remove all plugins from the plugins/software directory and restart Girder. If Girder works start putting plugins back until it fails and report what plugin is the culprit.

btw, I use win2k and girder works here.

Did you also remove all plugins from the plugins/hardware directory ?

This is very puzzeling, please list exactly what hardware and software you have.

i.e. Win2k,.. service pack ??

Also did you run a recent virus checker? If there is anyone else out there with this problem please speak up

I just downloaded the new version and it works for me under win2k

After installing the fresh last release 3.1.2e under 2k , i have this message when trying to start girder :

Access violation at adress 0045E229 in module 'Girder.exe'.Read of adress 00000000.

Older releases work perfectly .

Just try it , but still no way to start without any plugins in the directory , always the same error msg box .

I run with Win2k + SP2 , i shut down all my background progs ( getright , anti virus , and so on ... ) and always same error .

Btw , i use Port95NT ( a direct I/O driver ) on my system , but it works perfectlly with the older girder versions .

I just unistalled Port95NT , make a try , then reisntall Win2k SP2 , make another test , and still nothing .
btw , Girder 3.1.2e works fine on my other win2k computer so there is definitively something on my main computer that don't like Girder :evil:

I will try to find and tell you about .
