Channel Changing on an STB

Hello,

I have a Dish Network 3800 receiver and have setup Wintv-PVR-150 Model 1045. The PVR-150 includes an IR Blaster and the 45-button silver remote. However, the remote control is not MCE compliant (Does not have windows logo in the middle). I have spoken to Hauppauge and they have told me that their IR Blaster software is not compatible with my STB.

I am using GBPVR, and wanted to know if there is anyway that I could use Girder to setup channel changing for my Dish Network 3800 receiver. Is there anyway that I could use Girder to learn the IR Codes to control my STB and then control the STB through the Hauppauge Silver Remote?

you will need an IR blaster like the usbuirt to do this. you would learn the ir codes for your STB and have girder send them.
