Is IR2PC another avatar of UIR?

Well, from the IR2PC homepage ( ) under Girder it says, "Just select UIR as IR device and IR2PC works." So I guess that YES, this is a UIR-compatible implementation.

Also, this forum is specifically for the UIRT - the new transciever (receive AND SEND), so this is slightly off-topic, but thanks for your post anyway.

May I know whether IR2PC is a commercial version of UIR and can be used instead of building the circuit from discrete components?
