Nothing changed here from Girder 3.0 -> 3.1. So my guess is that you are doing something different. Since you say that the traybar now tells you that it cannot find the target and it didn't do this before I think this is where you are doing something different. Try settings the target to the foreground window, or to the desktop or something. Just take a peek how you did it in the old girder.

Hello,

with Girder <3.1 I had some events that used metakey+normalkey (e.g. ctrl+F1 or ctrl+alt+y) and that worked fine. With the new 3.1 Girder that isn't working anymore in some programs. Other work flawless...
E.g. I made a Desktop-Shortcut and assigned the ctrl+alt+y keyboard-shortcut. When I try the event, noting happens. When I press the buttons (ctrl+alt+y) the shortcut get executed...

by the way: win98se german edition, Girder 3.1e, homebrew serial receiver with Igors plugin.

Oh by the way, I just figured out, I get something like: Window not found in Girders statusbar. But I don't want to have a target. I just want Girder to "press" these buttons. Do I have any chance to let this happen?

Thanx Ron. I found the Problem!

The only difference was the hardware-plugin. With Girder <3.1 I always used winlirc2girder and now I use Igors plugin. So I started my old Girder and used Igors-plugin and strg+alt+y didn't work either!
So I looked at the advanced settings of the new plugin and found my problem: the priority was too high. When I use a lower priority in Igors-plugin, everything works fine.
