I Have a massive Girder automation in my Theater but want to take it too the next level.

I currently rs232 control (two way ) my barco 808, Theta CassIII, Quadscan and use Slink-e and usb-uirt for ir. I have two htpc's running girder and want to build a nice frontend for HT and also start looking to use media zones throughout the house.

Step 1. Make nice frontend to get me started using NR purely as frontend to existing automation under girder with two way status from girder eg. vilume of my receiver is tracked via girder and feedback via serieal event so want to update that on screen.
Step 2. Get zone audio using MR and JRMC.
Step 3. Get DVD playback off my locally and network storage using Theatertek with cover art etc. Theatertek now supports a two way ip interface in lastest release can also feedback dvd id

Questions:

1. I will use netremote initally on same pc as girder and use touch monitor in ht. Communications via two to Girder so which version do i need pro with no ir?
2. CAn the LDJ stuff work with TTek instead of Zoom as I am tt user
3. how dod you handle multiple zones playing different stuff thinking 3 zones does that mean three audio cards in one pc to handle these zones?

Thanks Rick

Rick,

1. IR is for direct consumer IR from the PC. So it doesn't sound like you need it.
2. Mastiff is the expert here. Check out his homepage.
3. Not sure.

NOTE: G3.3 is end of life. I would suggest going to G4. If you want to do this, PM me.
