Just want two way front end to start and the new designer I assume is easier than tonto?

can you tell me best way forward....tried to download designer but needs key so no trail on that?

Rick, there is a trial for NRD. Definitely go NR2.0. Designing is much easier in NRD than Tonto.

tried that asks me for registration code ....

Does netremote 2.0 need a reg code for trial too? Want to try it for 30 days and get my head around it first.

Also I am on girder 3.3 that is not an issue is it?

NetRemote 2.0 shouldn't need a reg code unless you've used it for 30 days already. Have you run it before?

I just ordered a Dell Axim and would like to use NR with it. I have Girder 4 Pro and the Insteon plug-in. I want to control my Insteon devices using the PDA.

What version of NetRemote do I need? It is not clear to me on the Net Remote page if I only need NR Pocket PC or if I also need NR Windows. I am guessing that NR WHP includes both.

The Axim won't be shipped for about two weeks but I would like to take advantage of the Father's Day sale and perhaps get a jump on programming NR to control Insteon devices.

Thank you,
Rand

If you need both, then get WHP. If you just want the Axim then the PPC version is fine. 1.1 is no longer available.

How is the insteon stuff working?

Hello Mike,

The Insteon stuff is working OK now that I went back to SDM 202 from 227. What the heck is Smarthome doing?

I have been really busy at work so I haven't had much time to play lately. But I have been playing today and I will indeed order the WHP.

Thank you,
Rand
