welcome to the wonderfull world of girder...
to do this, just create a multigroup, add a command within this group and set it to be a keyboard action add your first string of text, add a second command to this multigroup, again, set it to be a keyboard action, now use the special key dorp down list, add a third (ok, I think you got it now? ;-)).
have fun.

sorry, can't help you here, I just don't have sonic foundry.
Are you shure command/capture doesn't work?
As for keyboard simulation: you could try to play around with the wait function (windows/wait)....
good luck.

OK, 1st, Girder is great! 2nd, I'm a newbie, so be gentle!
I'm trying to send more complex keyboard commands to various programs. I have little problem getting my text in the 'sentence' box to appear but I want to send things like:
string of text
[TAB key]
second string of text
[ENTER key]
As you've probably guessed, I'm trying to automate filling out forms with this example, but I'd also like to be able to put '[CTRL] +' combinations and the like in the middle of sentences too.
I'm sure that a program so comprehensive as Girder must be able to do this but I think perhaps I can't see the forest for all the trees. :o

Thanks for that Ingo, it works a treat. I didn't realise multigroups were sequential! :)
Now I've only one other keyboard-y problem! There are a few actions I need to execute which system wide capturing doesn't seem to be able to deal with. All I really need to do is to open the View menu and then click 'L' but I've tried it using the above method and Sonic Foundry Siren doesn't do anything.
I've set the target correctly as I've managed to get play/pause/skip etc working with the same settings!
Cheers again...

Cheers for that idea! I had to capture two seperate events with Sys. W. Capt. and put wait in the middle and it worked!
:P
