Actually :-) Girder needs to be able to insert keystrokes lowlevel into the keyboard driver... ( So DirectX programs can be controlled ) It should be 'easy' with one of the M$ examples,... would you like to have a go at this ?

I agree that the 2k version would be the better one to go after IF the solution also works for XP. Whether we want to be there or not, the future is XP. I use '98 and ME at home but know XP will be in my future if I continue buying PCs.

I would have thought a 2k version would be more needed. Most people I know prefer 2k over 9x due to it's somewhat higher level of stability (most of the time).
Of course, I'm also running 2k so I'm going to be a little biased. :wink:

I get your point, keyb_event doesnt do it with a directx app ?
I'll take a look in the DDK for a keybord filter driver
or sth in the direction

its a different method for 2k and 9x
which is more needed ?
