Hello,

I downloaded the Creative Remotes plugin (sblive.exe) and when I double-click the exe, nothing happens. Screen flashes and then nothing.

The plugin does not show up in Girder, the plugin directory, or anywhere else I can find.

Is anyone else seeing this, or am I doing something silly?

If at all possible, I need to be able to play midi files on my PC and have Girder respond to them by Wednesday evening (June 28, 2006)

I do have Loopbe installed.

Assuming the Creative Remotes plugin is what I need.

Thanks SO much for anyones time on this.

the creative remotes plugin wouldnt do what you want. What exactly do you want to do? do you just want to play the midi files or do you want girder to recieve the intrument commands? you could take a look at my midi i/o plugin http://www.promixis.com/forums/showthread.php?p=89024#post89024

What I want to do is play a midi file (SysEx only) from the computer, and have it trigger a Girder Event.

I could do this with Girder 3, but after I got my new office PC - Girder 4 was available. i don't remember what Plugin I used for Girder 3.

I saw your plugin, and downloaded it, and installed it the other day - I just haven't figured out how to use it yet. I didn't have much time to play with it last night, I just installed it and played a midi file to see if Girder recognized it - it didn't. But I'm also not sure if my MIDI SysEx is correct - I've never made one before. I think it's correct though. When I get to the office I can upload one of them.

I'll look more into your plugin, I think that's exactly what I need - I just wish I had more time. (don't we all)

the midi sysex plugin will work in that case but the installer will be expecting a girder3 installation and so wont work properly. I have attached the plugin which you can simply put in the girder plugins directory
