View Full Version : mp3 player using girder 3.1 and hollywood plus receiver

Hi, and welcome to Girder!

Using Girder with Winamp isn't all that straight-forward at first, but once you get the jist of things you can get it to do pretty much everything you want.

For starters, go to the export groups page and download some winamp groups. Use the Convertor from the download page to convert those into .GML files so you could use them in Girder 3.1 (the older, .GIR and .GXR files were used in Girder 3.0).

So try those out and let us know if you're having trouble getting anytthing to work or if there is anything else you need.

:-? me stuck!! I want to use girder 3.1 with my hollywood plus I/R receiver to control winamp or something like it. I downloaded the media jukebox 7 example off of the girder homepage and had no joy, It does use girder version 3 which doesn't support my I/R receiver, any ideas oh wise ones??
