I have built a new carputer that uses Zoom Player to show the kids different movies (by using "Right" and "Left" instances of Zoom Player), and I have all the transport controls working good. The problems is choosing the movies. I have two directories, one labeled Kevin and one labeled Lisa, plus one common directory, with the name of the DVD Shrink ripped DVD movies as subdirectories. I start a movie when we start to drive, but if the drive is more than the length of the movie, I'll have to stop to change movies since I don't have an easy way of doing it from NetRemote. Any good ideas would be appreciated. I would of course like a browser interface like the library of MC or even the GAC systems. Perhaps I can make a GAC scheme in NetRemote for that? Only problem is of course that I haven't made those in ages. Can one be made for browsing directories, and then just a command saying "c:\program files\zoom player left\zplayer.exe [gac directory]\video_ts.ifo"?

Hi Tor,

Isn't this what PlayPick was designed for??

Ben is talking about extending MB's directory hanling to incorporate what PlayPick does (and perhaps LDJ). But meanwhile, PlayPick is there.

Thanks! I haven't looked at PlayPick before, but I'll see if I can use it.
