Request from avsforum ... how can I teach Girder to send WinDVD (the equivalent of) Ctrl-M to bring up the main menu wherever I am in the movie.

Quite easy. Tested right now with latest official Girder and Windvd 2.3

Add a command called "main menu".
Choose the tab "Command" and select "Capture".

Launch windvd and run the movie (no fbi trailers, not the menu, the movie ...)

In Girder's capture interface, choose start capture.

Back to windvd (a captured event already appears in Girder's window). Press Ctrl-M

Pay attention to the line that has just been added to Girder's window (in my case, 2 in fact).

Girder>Stop capture

Select the line corresponding to the event captured when you pressed ctrl-M. In my case, the WindowClass is WinDVDClass, the type is "Command"
and the WParam is 98437. Not sure it HAS to be exactly that way on your setup

Apply/OK

Windvd .. relaunch the movie

In Girder, select the newly created command, right click>Test command => whhhooshhh .back to main menu :)
