I installed NetRemote onto a Dell PDA to carry out some testing, I then moved onto another PDA so I uninstalled Netremote from the Dell, however now everytime the Dell PDA comes out of any screen shut down mode I get a notification error stating 'Cannot execute\program files\NetRemote\NetRemote.exe' which is not surprising since it has been uninstalled, however the error message is becoming a real pain in "£$%
Any suggestions how to get rid of this message Thanks

The *easiest* way is to install NR once more. Run it once and exit cleanly. Then you can uninstall again. I guess that you did a soft reset before uninstalling and it left something registered.
@Ben: Can't/doesn't the uninstall function also unregister the NOTIFICATION_EVENT_WAKEUP??

Unfortunately using the built-in uninstaller doesn't allow me to do things like this (AFAIK).
However we may have a way to correct this in the future.

Can't you stick the CeRunAppAtEvent(szAppName, NOTIFICATION_EVENT_NONE) in an Uninstall_Init() function of your Setup.dll? See http://www.pocketpcdn.com/articles/setupdll.html (or Google "Uninstall_Init") if you don't know what I mean.

I suppose I could do that. Thanks!
