I need some help. I just upgraded from Girder 3.2 to 4.0. I am using USBIRT thru Girder to control xlobby (xremote). I had it working fine in Girder 3.2, but I upgraded to 4.0 in order to take advantage of newer plugins and when I did the gml lost all of the IR events associated with the actions. I cant figure out how to add the IR events back to it. The add event button and file menu command are greyed out and I dont see anyway to drag events to add to the actions.
I have added a new remote with all of the associated IR events, but I cant seem to find a way to attach those events to the actions listed in my gml file either.
Any ideas of what I am doing wrong???

Make sure you have the USB-UIRT plugin enabled in File|Settings|Plugins
Then open the logger window from the View menu, try pressing a button on your remote. You should see entries from the USB-UIRT in the logger window. Drag from the logger window to the action in the tree (if you can't see the actions then View|Switch to Expert Interface)

Thanks Rob -
I get the events just fine in the logger window. But I cant drag them from the logger window to the action tree. I'm using the expert interface, but I get one of those cirlces with the line thru it when I try to drag the event to the action in the tree.

That's strange - ah, are you trying to drag it over the action tree on the left? Or the GML action tree on the right?
What exact version of Girder 4 is this?

You must drag those events over an action or an macro....

I am using version 4.0.5.2(362) July 3, 2006.
I cannot drag the USBUIRT events to any actions for the GML file that I'm using for Xremote in Xlobby. However, I can drag the events to actions in other gml files. Is there any reason I can drag the events to one set of gml actions, but not another?
