I’m pretty new to this so you’ll have to excuse me if I’m just missing something obvious.
What I’m trying to do is to use Netremote 2 running on my pocket pc through Girder and winlric running on my pc to control my home theater.
I’ve setup net remote and learned the remote codes on the handheld and set ir to girder passthrough. Then I setup winlirc and a serial port transmitter on the pc. This works fine, except I can’t learn codes on the pc because I haven’t built a receiver yet but I’ve tested it with a sample codeset. Netremote connects to Girder, and I installed and configured the winlirc plugin per instructions but girder doesn’t relay the ir commands to winlirc. I shouldn’t need the ir commands stored on the pc in ether Girder or winlirc if they’re already stored in netremote and just being relayed, or do I have that reversed?
