Nothing happen when I press the remote

Did you enable the UIR plugin in the settings window on the hardware tab ?

I have an UIR in COM1. In the settings I've enabled it and configured it to use COM1. When I press F9 the blue ball get yellow for a second and then turn green.
I read in the help that this green ball should blink with yellow color when it receives some IR action. I use three different remotes but the green ball won't turn yellow.

If I try to learn an event nothing happen. The status bar at the bottom just tell me it's waiting for some IR...

What should I do?

I use Girder 3.0.22 and Windows ME.

Problem solved!

When I got home from work and used my own remote it worked great. Apparently all three remotes we have here at work use IR codes that are not understood.
