Volume OSD doesn't appear

I have two Volume change commands: up and down on the main volume control. When I trigger any one of them for the first time I get a popup window saying "ERREUR" as the popup caption and "Register failed" for the popup message. Any other execution of those commands works without problem (ie the volume is changing up or down) BUT without any OSD even though I checked OSD in both commands.

To summarize:
I can change volume as needed but I never see any OSD and I have an error message on the first time a volume command is executed.

I could of course write a numerical display for my volume control as explained somewhere in this forum but it used to work in v3.0 and I need it.

Girder 3.1.3, W2K Pro French.

Any idea anyone ?
