The UI will be overhauled in a few months i'm not going to do anything to it anymore. I'm afraid you just have to get used to the way that Girder works.

I think I can do that :-) I actually never implemented this because of this:

Normally the filename is put in the titlebar, however there are some plugins that are hardcoded to the titlebar name being "Girder 3.1" for example the SlinkE plugin.

Girder 3.2 alpha 13 (yes future ;-) ) now has a dedicated window open (invisible) that takes care of being the parent for these windows. Girder will pass the handle of this windows to the plugins so that I can change the title name as I please.

Girder 3.2 is coming along very well I hope I can get a release out within a week or 2. ( No promises ;-) )

Ron,

I didn't notice this reported so I'm letting you know that Girder 3.1.3c flashs the icon on every event even when this feature is turned off on the User Interface tab.

On a separate subject, can you change the way drag/drop/paste works within Girder? I have a lot of difficulty getting the trees organized the way I want because Girder doesn't seem to follow Windows conventions. Stuff is always going into the wrong position. I can elaborate if you need more explanation.

Ron,

I have no problem waiting. I look forward to the new UI. Girder is awesome and I am pretty used to it.

Please add to the enhancement list that Girder display the name of the file currently open. I jump back and forth between multiple Girder files when I'm developing a new file and it would help to see the file name listed so I know I'm in the right file. ;-)

I'm happy waiting so long as it's stable. I'm running Girder on my home automation system (HomeSeer) and HTPC (HiPix) with everything controllable via my MX-500 remote control. I use a Xantech IR link to relay the IR signals into the basement where I have these two PCs. The HTPC also has an Airboard, but now that I've got Girder handling mouse movement I don't use it. I'd actually like to figure out how to make the joystick cause the mouse movement to be smoother and to accelerate the longer I hold a button down, but that seems rather complicated so for now I'm happy as a lark anyway as everything works absolutely flawlessly!
