Somebody can probably give me some hints which I could forward to the devs of MediaPortal to solve a USBUIRT-related issue I face ...
MediaPortal offers users in its configuration app to choose USBUIRT as receiver or transceiver. After installing USBUIRT, a Status area shows the firmware version of USBUIRT. However, since several SVN versions of MediaPortal, the firmware version is not shown anymore. Instead, it says "USBUIRT device not detected!".
Here's the part where Girder or USBUIRT cracks could help: When Girder is loaded with the USBUIRT-driver enabled and input devices are enabled, the USBUIRT is detected correctly. As soon as I press F9 and execute the config app again, it is not detected anymore.
What exactly happens on a technical level when I press F9?
