newbie questions

Hi everyone

I have built a uirt from Rud Gessel's schematichs and used its hex to program the pic.
I am using girder to control some aplications on the pc.
Now i want to control devices such as tv's, vcr's etc. I read the help, i read the faq's and i searched the forum's but i found nothing (at least i think i didn't).
Can anyone help me out on this matter? :-?

Aqua,

you have to enable the UIRT action plugin under "File" - "Settings".
You will then be able to send IR commands using the UIRT driver under "Plugins".

Anyway, i forgot to check the action plugin, but i have been unable to find where to mimic a command in the program to send the ir codes for the tv.
Can you write a simple example?

I have only experience with Jon's plugin but I will give it a try (somebody please correct me if I'm wrong).

Create a new command to send a IR code,
then select "plugins" and there "uirt driver".
In the pop-up screen you should be able to learn the IR code wich has to be send.
