Girder 3.0 -> 3.1

Nothing is flawless. Girder 3.1 works a little different in some areas that might give you some problems. So if you are going to try this don't uninstall your old girder and install the new girder in a different location.

I have Girder 3.0 controlling my home theatre well. However, I am using PowerDVD XP, which has been a hassle to get Girder to work with. Fortunately, a PowerDVD XP plugin is available for Girder, but only version 3.1. Am I risking messing up my current stable configuration going for the upgrade, or is the converter tool almost flawless?
