Hi

I build UIRT2 and it don't work with firmware 1.6 (by Jon Rhees), but work fine with version 1.22 from Danijel Pticar page.

I programmed both version (1.22 and 1.6) with Danijel Pticar programmer (ver. 1.3) sucessfull.

My hardware - PIC 16F84-04P, 4 MHz, B-version of UIRT2, external power supply, 1-m long cable (between UIRT and comp).

When I try test UIRT with Danijel Pticar "test app 1.21" I respond errors "no Ok" or "no OG reply" (or something that).

What wrong? May be for 1.6 need 10 MHz only PIC? (It's bad news - I don't buy 10 or 20 MHz PIC in my location :x )

p.s. sorry for my bad english

Hi.

Danijel's test app and plugin only work with his firmware. This is because it uses a different protocol from Jon's. To test Jon's firmware, use Girder and his plugin.

Victoz,

You will need to use my plugin along with my firmware. The methodologies behind the different UIRT's are entirely different.

You shouldn't have any problem with the 4MHz code. That is what I use personally. I happened to have a 4MHz PIC part lying around when I started this project.
