I have been using Girder for 3 weeks now and are just amazed how well done and nice it is. But there is a few things I have figured out for my self yeat. So I decided to post them all in one big post in hope that some will receive answers.

Thank you

1. When I play files like MVK/XViD/DVD(vob's) they often have several audio tracks (like, english 5.1, norwegian 2.1, russian 5.1 and so on) in one file. And when I do play them from Media Center 2005, how can I program Girder to change audio track without going out from media center? Normaly I have to go out and right clicking on the icon and click on the audio track I would like to have from drop down menu.

2. What will be the best way to make girder remember global variables so they will not be reseted on restart of a PC. I was thinking about just making a dummy file and write impotent variables to it when they change, but maybe some one got a better solution?

3. Im using FireFly as my main remote control and USB-UIRT to control lcd tv, hifi, xbox 360 and so on. But there is always a small delay from push on the firefly to things happens on the TV. What can I do to make that delay as small as possible?

4. Does anyone have working T9 for windows media center 2005 that is easy to adapt to FireFly remote?

5. How can I send [Windows Key] + [ALT] + Enter to a window ? Have tryed with alternative key send, but Windows Key are in the same drop down menu as Enter so its not possible to choice them both at the same time.

6. How to make OSD created by Girder to display volume information and other useful info stay ALWAYS on top of everything? At the moment it stays on top of all windows but not during video playback or in windows media center.

1. Do not know.
2. Use pickle on the table that you want to save to file and unpickle it when girder comes back up
3. nothing sadly.
4. T9, no not T9 but we do have 'Diamond Key'.
5. Keyboard action @<RWIN><ENTER>
6. It cannot stay on top of those types of windows as they take exclusive control of the screen.

For future reference it's generally a good idea to stick to one (or at most two) question per post. It can be a bit overwhelming to be faced with that many questions only some of which you know the answer to. Also, if a long thread develops it's a lot easier to keep track of the subject.
