Hi I have just configured my MCE remote to work with media portal (HTPC software) and it works perfectly, so thanks for a great product.
However I now need to program (somehow) girder to send out IR signals via the IR blasters that come with the MCE remote. I basically want on a volume up/down to send out a signal that is the correct one for my AMP to increase/decrease the volume.
I want to know if the following is logically possible?
1. Program girder to accept the vol up and down on my MCE remote.
2. Program girder to accept the vol up and down from my AMP remote.
3. Once these 2 signals are in Girder, have girder recognise the MCE remote signal and send out the AMP remote signal to the IR blaster
Is this possible, I really dont want to program the MCE remote with the AMP signal. I want girder to identify the MCE remote up and down signal and send out the AMP remote signal.
Can someone let me know if this is possible and if so how do i go about it. I am using the open source MCE IR driver from here http://thegreenbutton.com/forums/1/33616/ShowThread.aspx
Thanks,
