Girder 5 - Vista - ehome MCE IR Plugin

I have upgraded my HT PC to Vista Ulltimate.

I use Girder to take an IR Signal from my eHome IR Receiver to send text to a serial port to control a 8x8 Matrix Component Switch.

Girder is working fine and can talk to the switch but the MCE IR Plugin is Broken

It there a plan to update this plugin? or will girder 5 fix this broken plugin on vista?

This is a deal breaker for me and So far Girder talking to UIRT in vista seems impossible.

Please let me know what direction I should take to resolve this as it is urgent.

Also If Girder 5 is going to fix this Please add me to the beta progam.

The MCE plugin is a 3rd party plugin. So I can't say when that will be updated. When refering to the UIRT, do you mean that the USB-UIRT (http://www.promixis.com/products.php?section=usbuirt) does not work on Vista?

I want to order an USBUIRT but want to make sure it will work on Vista with Girder. Has anybody tried it Ron?

Keep in mind, the USB-UIRT driver won't work with a x64 version of Vista unless you disable driver signature checking from the boot menu. That had me hung up for a while.

hello,
my usbuirt works with vista64 but girder doesn't restart the driver after
a wakeup from standby. could you please explain how to disable the driver signature checking? then I can test if that works for me!!
