I have set up girder to run a macro to play a dvd in powerdvd 7 and have added a remote event using the play button on my remote to carry out this task. When I test the macro using the test button in Girder it works. It brings powerdvd to the forefront and plays the dvd. When I press the remote's play button girder correctly receives the command but does not play the dvd.

Any help would be appreciated.

I should add I am trying to do this in Vista with Girder 4. Is this a Vista problem that will be addressed in version 5. If so, please add me to the beta list.

BringToForeground is problematic in recent windows versions. Microsoft in it's infinite wisdom has blocked applications that are not foreground from raising other applications to foreground. In the past we've been able to circumvent this but it sounds as though Vista has closed that loophole. Not sure we can get around this again.
