I am setting up my X10 Mouseremote receiver (RR501) with Girder 3.2b4, using Mark's Serial plugin and Ingo's X10 ini file under Windows XP.
Now, when I press any button on my mouseremote (model JR21A), the Girder window shows incoming event. But when I try to learn the event (Serial plugin selected), nothing gets registered to the learn dialog box.
Another strange thing is, no matter what button I press on the MouseRemote, it only shows '8' and '0' in the status bar, like this: COM1: 80800080, 00800800, etc.
Has anyone able to make Girder learn any button pressed by the MouseRemote via RF? Or, do we have to use the MouseRemote with an IR receiver?
