Proper method of updating - I don't want to lose my Insteon naming, etc.

Hello,

I am struggling with Insteon. And I have many, many, many devices...

I spent the time naming them all, and then it was all erased (by accident) during a support call.

Whoops!

Now I've redone all that work, and gone even further...

I noticed my version is older. It is v512, and I just downloaded v515...

I'm wanting to try the latest for bug fixes, prior to posting Insteon issues in the G5 forum - as requested.

is the best way to install v515, replacing v512, without losing user-added data, etc??

To make sure that you do not loose any settings do not uninstall (note that uninstall does not remove the insteon settings, but just to be sure).

To make sure you are not dragging around old file simply rename the install directory (Program Files\Promixis\Girder5 ) to something else and then install again.
