girder & media portal

Hello all
i am trying out media portal at this time and really like it, although one thing has me stumped ?? unlike gbpvr which has a girder plugin built media portal does not.what i would like to do is when i change a channel in media portal
say channel 250 girder would see gb_tune_2 then gb_tune_5 then gb_tune_0
this is what gbpvr sends to girder. does anyone know is this possible to do in girder ver3 or ver 4
any info would be great

Ron, the GML doesn't help with getting channel tuning events from MediaPortal for external tuners though, which I think is the case here ;)

I'll have a quick look around the MediaPortal forums to see if there's something for triggering event.exe with the appropriate parameters on channel changes.

I'm pretty sure it's been done before ;)

well this is a link to the Media Portal plugin that's meant to change channels via another application or directly via serial interface:

From what I've read in the plug-in description.....yes

executing Girder3 or 4 's 'event.exe' with the right parameters should work.
