Using Winamp 5.08 and need to teach Girder 4 and my Firefly how to put it into full screen mode. Please let me know how to do this. Have a *.gml file but cant find the option in there. Thanks

So the question being what programme do you all use to display on TV via S-video cable? As in start on computer and display on your television? Bit of a pain running back to the computer to make the window full screen every time I start a new show. Thanks once again

I mostly use ZoomPlayer. It has a very good TCP interface - Girder 5 will have a ZoomPlayer device to make it easier to control from Girder GMLs, NetRemote or a web interface. You can configure it to always start in full screen (and specify which display device to run it on).

Shall run off and have a look see now. Can this be configured with Girder and can I use a button on the Snapstream firefly to make full screen and back?

G'day there Rob H. Thanks for that seems to be a pretty good programme that I can see. Haven't found the function to tell it what screen to start in could you point me in the right direction for that? The other is how do I set up in the GML to open it in the first place (power up) Other than that I think I got it all working. Once again Thanks

Which version of ZoomPlayer are you using - I'm using 4.5 (latest is 5). The configuration options are different. In ZP4.5 the fullscreen monitor option is under Values & Tools on the Interface tab (note that you have to be in Advanced Mode to find this)

Rob H ((Senior Member (Proximis Team Long-Time User))I have to now say that I dislike you intensely. You have on this occasion caused me to spend money on a programme. One that plays DVDs Audio and an assortment of other file formats. You have also upset me as I had never heard of ZoomPlayer until you told me about it. So what did I do I went out tried it and found that it did everything you said it would and does it exceptionally well. I suppose now you are going to tell me that there is something it wont do and I have wasted my money on it?? Go on tell me so that I can tell you I dislike you some more.......
After all that thanks for the great advice. And I used to think VLC was good.
By the way I am using version 5

:)
There really isn't much that ZP won't do when it comes to playing media. Certainly for video there is little to touch it in my opinion. The only problem is that there are so many configuration options that it can be a bit confusing, although they appear to have improved this in version 5.
