i've not been able to recreate the behaviour you report. ( strange chars ) So i'm not sure what that is.
The "2" might just be a debug thing i forgot to take out.
And the problem with shifted chars is known, it lies within window, if you use the alternative proc it should be okay.

I have a problem with sending keyb sentences.
I was supposing it was a prob of my win98 until i encountered the problem on a win2k workstation.
The problem looks like that:
- if i put a sentence and the target is the foreground windows, sometimes it sends strange chars to the app (notepad), otherwise nothing happens.
- if i set the target win to notepad, and the string contains only unshifted chars, nothing happens, but in the bar, near of the led, appears the number 2. An error code?
- if the string contains shifted chars, girder crashes. Sometime it doesn't, and puts wrong chars, like if i had an US keyb instead of an italian one.
It's not a plugin prob, cause it happens even without plugins enabled, with the test function. I found it in both .21 and .22. Nobody has the same problem?

I tried even with alt proc, but the behaviour is the same, nothing happens, and crashes with shifted keys.
What can i do to report it in a useful way?
