Perhaps someone is aware of where in the registry the enable/disable switch is located?
WinXP SP2 Home.

I didn't understand the original question I'm afraid. Are you talking about tasks scheduled by Girder's scheduler or the XP task scheduler?

Sorry for the confusion. I'm referring to Windows Scheduled tasks, ie, wake, etc. (schtasks). I have a series of tasks at different times acting as an alarm clock. Right now I have to manually go in and enable/disable depending on when I want to wake up. It would be nicer if I could just click a button on Netremote and have it enable the correct time.

BTW, I've tried the batch call ... schtasks /change [enable] ... but that doesn't work. Perhaps that is because I have implemented the 'task without needing a password' hack or maybe because of syntax, or maybe because it just doesn't work the way I want.

It might be worth doing the scheduling with Girder's scheduler instead, it's almost certainly going to be more flexible and can definitely be controlled by Girder :)

i do have a similar problem and hope somebody can help me:
my girder is used as mp3-player which intercepts the signals from my remote.
when i type a 4 digit-code, a specific winamp-playlist gets played. (OS-> File execute-Event).
now i'd like to use girder also as a alarm clock.
my idea was:
create some tasks (windows task planer) which play a playlist at a specific time.
i thought it would be possible to use the same methode mentioned above again that a OS->File execute Event would create the task.
the problem is now that i have to enable 1 task (the one which should wake me up the next morning) and to disable all the other tasks (different time, other kind of music and so on).
has anyone an idea how i could solve this problem? is there an easier way?
thx!

Better to use Girder's built-in scheduler for this.
