What do I need to Start Controlling my Lights with Girder.

I am looking into getting the Insteon Lighting Control. I am just wondering what I will need to buy to be able to control the Insteon using Girder/Netremote.

Am I right that I will need to get the INSTEON PowerLinc™ V2 Controller USB to be able to control any of the devices with Girder/Netremote?

Also, does anybody control their electric screen using one of the Insteon devices? If so, how are you doing that?

Hi,

Yes, that is what you need - or the serial version.

There is an Insteon relay device. I have one to test but haven't even looked at it yet.

For control of your screen an old x10 device (which the above plc can control) might be the cheapest and easiest to implement.
