This is probably too late, but here it goes..

In Girder's mouse control function are 8 directional selections for UP, DOWN, RIGHT, DOWNRIGHT, etc... For each of these is the number of pixels(?) that the cursor moves when the event is detected.

Feature Requested:
Add another parameter for the number of pixels that the cursor will move for repeated events after 2 seconds.

I'm not sure, but the code to do this may already exist in the ButtonMode plugin.
