What is the preferred method of handling lists? ListManager or GAC, or is GAC just for MediaBridge use?

I'm trying to handle lists of items that need to be scrolled/paged through (i.e. multiple devices with control/status).

GAC is just for MediaBridge - at least at present, not sure if Ben has any plans to extend it.
